Cathy Renaud

Vice President, Hospital Development

Cathy leads a highly experienced team that values listening and brings staff, clinicians, volunteers, and community voices forward to help shape a new hospital that will support everyone.

Kelly Tsoumagas

Director, Planning & Strategy

Kelly brings over 20 years of experience across four major hospital projects. Her expertise in capital planning, finance, and strategy is helping shape South Georgian Bay’s future hospital.

CJ Smith

Director, Construction

C.J. brings extensive experience in construction leadership, project delivery, and team coordination across complex and multi-stakeholder environments.

Kate Caines

Senior Project Manager

Kate brings nearly 20 years of experience building hospitals across Ontario. She blends medical planning, interior design, and project leadership to CGMH’s Hospital Development team.

Sarah Peloso

Clinical Project Manager

With a background in nursing at CGMH, Sarah brings a clinical perspective to hospital design. She works closely with frontline teams to make sure their input shapes the spaces that support patients, safety, and day-to-day work.

Renata Alves

Project Manager

Renata brings significant project management experience on large-scale healthcare capital projects, with expertise across all project phases and Ministry submissions. Her knowledge will help advance the successful delivery of our future hospital.

Karen Robinson

Administrative Assistant

With a background supporting engineering and legal firms, and prior experience at CGMH, Karen coordinates the details to support the people doing the work, ensuring they stay organized, on track, and moving forward.

Heather McIntyre

Indigenous Advisor

Heather’s spirit name is Baashkikwa’am, which means “She creates Thunder with her voice”. She is a proud Anishinaabe woman from Georgina Island First Nation and has lived in Collingwood for 40 years. She has spent the last 10 years serving her community.

Brian Tingay

Facilities Advisor

With nearly four decades of experience in healthcare infrastructure and P3 projects, Brian brings a builder’s lens to the Hospital Development team. Brian focuses on how the future hospital will function daily.

Dan Brzak

Advisor

With over 15 years of front line hospital redevelopment experience, Dan draws on his Architectural background to support the CGMH team.
